Analyst Course

The analysis and interpretation of telecoms data is crucial to ensure that the investigators are fully informed. The role of the Telecoms Data Analyst is becoming more crucial and relied upon in order to ensure that key lines of enquiry are identified and, ultimately, compelling evidence presented to a jury.

Footprint Investigations have created a course specifically for Telecoms Data Analysts. The course will build understanding of the data sets available from the UK networks. It allows for “hands on” experience, by enabling students to experience data and scenarios from real investigations. The students will learn techniques to attribute mobile phones to users, and they will make a presentation of their findings.

This 2 day course, which will take place at your premises, consists of 3 modules. Day 1 will look at the issues surrounding the various data sets which an Analyst may have to deal with, along with production of call mapping. Day 2 will cover attribution of mobile phones to users, call pattern analysis, and the issues surrounding presenting this data at Court.

Who should attend?

All staff in analytical roles who work with telecommunications data as part of their duties.
