The cell site experts at Footprint Investigations said goodbye to Head Analyst Steve Benjamin this week. Steve was Operations Manager as well as heading up the team of analysts who support the cell site analysis experts.

Steve served thirty years with West Midlands Police, encompassing many years in CID, major crime investigations, regional crime squad and the Counter Terrorism Unit. At the conclusion of his service Steve was the Senior Police SPOC Officer within the force telecoms unit providing major investigations with all forms of specialist telecoms advice including cell site analysis.

Since retiring from the force, and for the last twelve years Steve has continued to work within the telecoms arena, specifically specialising in cell site analysis.

Steve founded Footprint Investigations along with Commercial Director Andy Townsend and Cell Site Analysis Expert Greg Robinson in 2010 and the company has since grown considerably.

Steve spent much of his time working on our bespoke software systems along with our developer, as well as supporting the other cell site analysts with preparing call schedules and mapping when required.

Ben Littleford and Sue Delahaye along with our new analyst who will be joining Footprint Investigations shortly will continue to assist the cell site analysis experts with the tasks of processing call data records, preparing call schedules and producing call mapping, normally to very tight deadlines.

All the staff at Footprint Investigations would like to wish Steve a long and happy retirement, you will be missed by all. Steve will no doubt spend much of his retirement engaged in his passion for vintage cars.
