Cell Site Analysis in 2022
This year Footprint Investigations have expanded once again and now have two offices to house the ever-increasing number of staff.
We had to turn a significant amount of work away last year so we expanded in 2022 to service the growing number of cell site cases.
We also have a totally new department dealing with graphics packs for use at court. We have a specialist team producing timeline exhibits including CCTV images and video used to assist the jury in cases.
We now have seven cell site analysis experts, nine cell site analysts, a radio frequency network surveyor, two cell site managers, a software developer and a graphic designer.
All of our experts have had very heavy workloads and Encrochat has had an impact on this. A number of experts have spent a significant amount of time in court giving evidence on both prosecution and defence cases.
Criminal defence cases have returned to normal since the barristers strike ended. Although we are now being instructed on many urgent cases again due to late service.
Office life has now returned to normal and the majority of our cell site experts and analysts are now working from our offices.
Many cell site cases require a conference and the majority of these still take place via teams or similar. Most of the time our cell site experts give evidence in person but we have also seen an increase in evidence via video link.
This year we have been instructed on cases involving kidnap, robbery, courier fraud, with the majority of cases being murders or county lines.
Due to the extremely high number of quotes we are asked to prepare, we also introduced a preferred customer scheme in order to give priority to those customers who respect our trading terms.
We have also had a number of bookings for our popular CPD training course, cell site analysis in action.
The cell site experts can assist you with cell site analysis, call pattern analysis, mobile phone attribution, Encrochat and CPD training.
Thank you to everyone who has instructed us in 2022 and we look forward to working with you again in future cases.
