Cell Site Analysis in Action at 36 Bedford Row

Footprint Investigation were delighted to be invited along to 36 Bedford Row Chambers last week to conduct CPD training.

Cell Site Analysis Expert and Technical Director Greg Robinson conducted the talk, along with Commercial Director Andy Townsend.

‘Cell Site Analysis in Action’ is the follow up CPD course to ‘Cell Site Analysis Explained’ which has been attended by thousands of lawyers over the past 3 years.

The event was very well attended both by barristers from 36 Bedford Row as well as local solicitors firms.

The evening started by looking at some of the myths surrounding cell site analysis evidence, moving on to case studies highlighting weaknesses which can be encountered in prosecution evidence.

The attendees had significant knowledge of cell site analysis evidence and the majority had instructed an expert in the past. Cell Site Analysis evidence has never been more complex so as such the update covered changes such as 4G and network consolidation. This was followed by a section covering the importance of instructing an ‘expert’ with a relevant background in planning and optimisation or similar, within one of the network providers.

Hopefully everyone found the course enjoyable and potentially of use in relation to current or future cases.

Acknowledging that many barristers and solicitors are dealing with cell site analysis now on a more frequent basis then it is understandable that their awareness has increased. This advanced course is fitting to their experience, and proven by the relevant and probing questions that were raised.

Thank you to everyone who attended and to 36 Bedford Row for organising the event.
