Free BSB Accredited CPD Training for Barristers

Footprint Investigations are pleased to announce that they will shortly be accredited by the Bar Standards Board, to offer free CPD courses about the use of mobile phones within criminal defence cases, specifically dealing with cell site analysis.

The CPD course “Cell Site Analysis Explained” will be available to Barristers right across the UK. We have been successfully running a similar course for criminal defence Solicitors nationwide, which has been very well received, resulting in us being asked to speak at numerous events run by Barristers Chambers. With this in mind, we have decided to run the course within Barristers Chambers and will be conducting the first one very soon.

The course will entail an introduction to cell site analysis and its history within criminal cases, along with a look at the truths and myths surrounding the use of cell site analysis when used as an investigative tool. We will also look at mobile phone attribution, and demonstrate radio frequency surveys, and IMEI identification, along with evolving technology. The latter part of the course deals with defence capability of cell site analysis in the absence of a Crown case, and finally offers a period of your questions answered.

If you would like to know more about the CPD course, or make an advanced booking please contact Denise on 01527 467467 or email denise@footprintinvestigations.com Have a look at our testimonials page to see what some of our previous attendees had to say.
