Happy 12th Birthday to The Cell Site Experts
Footprint Investigations have been established for twelve years this week. We have grown steadily and are still the largest independent dedicated cell site analysis supplier in the UK.
Our cell site experts have now prepared over 3000 reports for both prosecution and defence cases since the inception of Footprint Investigations. The total number of reports prepared by our experts is far higher as they have also prepared many reports for other forensics companies prior to working at Footprint Investigations.
The past year has been very busy for the team, which has expanded significantly in the last twelve months. The cell site team now consists of six cell site experts, Ten cell site analysts, two cell site managers a quality manager a software developer, graphic designer and a radio frequency network surveyor.
We now have a second office housing our new team who are assisting police forces with graphics packs to be used by police forces at court.
Demand for cell site analysis has been huge this year, mainly due to the backlog of cases as well a significant number of Encrochat cases requiring an expert report.
In the past year, we have been instructed to prepare reports for a large number of police forces and criminal defence solicitors nationwide on both legal aid and private cases. We have also prepared reports for other agencies in child protection cases.
We are regularly instructed to prepare a cell site or call pattern analysis report in cases of murder, armed robbery, drugs conspiracies, burglary, stalking, kidnap, county lines and people trafficking.
Our experts have given evidence at many courts around the UK, as well as in the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
