Chris has worked in telecommunications for over a decade. He worked deploying mobile radio communications in the British Army for 8 years, during which time he was involved in the planning and designing of military communications networks. He has a Post Graduate Certificate in Wireless Communications and spent over 2 years as a lecturer in that same subject.

Chris has gained significant experience in radio frequency propagation and antennas, radio propagation prediction software, Wi-Fi, satellite communications and measurement, as well as processing and analysis of mobile network data.

Since joining Footprint Investigations in 2022 Chris has prepared many cell site reports and has also spent a significant amount of time delivering radio frequency network survey training to key staff.
