Cell Site Analysis and Evidential usage of Call Data Records; Law Enforcement Training Courses

Footprint Investigations are now able to offer bespoke Cell Site Analysis training courses to Law Enforcement Agencies across the UK and are taking advanced bookings for 2013.

There are a number of courses available to book, and they are designed to be conducted in-house to Police forces for an audience of up to 20 delegates per session.

The courses range from the use of Cell Site Analysis, Handling data and Call Pattern Analysis, Phone Attribution and Road Traffic Collision Investigations.  There are a number of Cell Site courses available which are suitable for Police and Analysts with a responsibility for the development, interpretation and presentation of historic cell site call data records.

The numerous courses available will cover, among other modules;

Understanding telecoms data, as this is pivotal to ensure that each operation using cell site analysis is driven forward in the most appropriate way in order to ensure best evidence.

Mobile phone attribution which is one of the most important areas to consider when conducting cell site analysis and the course will cover the many techniques which can be used in support of mobile phone attribution.

Call mapping, which is conducted once movements and likely locations of the parties of interest have been established from conducting cell site analysis.

Call pattern analysis to identify mobile phone numbers contacted, call frequency and the parties contacted most often. This helps to identify association between individuals and highlights the unique pattern of the mobile phone user.

Radio frequency network surveys and the numerous methods which can be utilised when conducting cell site analysis to include issues which can potentially arise depending upon the type of survey conducted.
