Cell Site Analysis Explained at the Western Circuit

The Cell Site experts at Footprint Investigations were delighted to receive an invitation recently to speak at a forthcoming training day at Winchester University, hosted by the Western Circuit on the 8th December.

Greg Robinson, senior Cell Site expert and Technical Director will conduct the course to around 60 circuit members which will give an overview of cell site analysis and its importance within criminal trials.

He will also cover the myths surrounding cell site analysis, discuss the most common questions he is asked when delivering Expert evidence at Court, and give case studies in relation to trials where cell site analysis played a significant part.

There will also be a demonstration of the equipment used when conducting radio frequency network surveys along with an overview of the different survey methods that can be used by Cell Site Engineers.

The course will also briefly cover mobile phone attribution and its importance, along with call pattern analysis and how this can assist in certain cases.
