Welcome Back to Cell Site Expert Robert Knight
Footprint Investigations are delighted to welcome their latest cell site analysis expert Robert Knight, or Bob as he prefers to be known, back to the team. Bob is very well known within the cell site analysis industry and has recently re-joined Footprint Investigations in the role of Cell Site Expert Witness after spending the past year working as a consultant to The Metropolitan Police. Prior to this Bob worked as an expert witness for Footprint Investigations since 2014.
Cell Site Analysis in 2020
This year has been one of the strangest yet for the cell site experts. We are usually overrun with criminal defence work, always last minute but this year has been very different.
The first quarter of the year was the same as ever with late instructions and reports needed as a matter of urgency. Then coronavirus hit and all trials were halted. Many cases were awaiting further work to be done, and only now are some of these trials starting up again. Many are now delayed until late next year.
Merry Christmas From the Cell Site Experts
The team at Footprint Investigations would like to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
As ever, we have not sent cards to any of our customers, instead we have made a donation to Acorns Children’s Hospice which is a local charity in Birmingham.
Our Office will close for the Christmas period on the 23rd December at 5pm and will reopen on the 4th January at 8am.

Cell Site Analysis Covid 19 Update
The cell site experts at Footprint Investigations are still fully operational. A number of our staff are currently working remotely, however if you need to send us data via the postal service then our office is still open.

Online Cell Site Training for Barristers & Solicitors
Greg Robinson, Technical Director and Cell Site Analysis Expert recently delivered another ‘zoom’ training session. We were invited to give an update to barristers from Thomas More Chambers, along with a number of their instructing solicitors.
Virtual Cell Site Training
Footprint Investigations are still fully operational and undertaking cell site analysis, mobile phone attribution, call pattern analysis and radio frequency network surveys.
We also usually offer CPD training to barristers and solicitors. The cell site experts would normally conduct the training at chambers. As this is not currently possible our experts are now available to deliver virtual training.
Cell Site Analysis – Covid 19 Update
It is the intention of Footprint Investigations to continue to operate in order to assist law enforcement agencies and where applicable, criminal defence lawyers.
We intend to operate to our usual service levels and strive to continue to provide constant service levels to all of our customers.
